Awesomic

Stacy and Roman were the very first members who moved in to our LIFT99 Kyiv hub even before we were officially opened. They won two hub memberships back in 2019 and joined our community as Doge Codes (online coding courses). While running the online school, they constantly received a question from their clients: “Where did you get such amazing design?” This was the moment when they got an idea: some companies need design services from time to time but they don’t need a full-time designer. The idea resulted Doge Codes pivoting to Pizdata — a web app to get graphic and UI design tasks done in 24 hours. However, the company name Pizadata (which means “freaking amazing” in Ukrainian) was rebranded to Awesomic during the Salto Growth Camp #4. In addition to product improvements, Awesomic founders also met two angel investors at Salto Growth Camp.

Dashbird

Dashbird started in mid-2017 and joined the LIFT99 community in the beginning of March 2018. Their diligence and dedication stood out to LIFT99 founder Ragnar Sass, who decided to help them with several investor intros and also with an initial stage angel investment. This quickly resulted in a $800K investment round in May 2018. According to Taavi the LIFT99 community was like an extra energy boost that helped them keep up a good working pace and get valuable help whenever they needed.

Outfunnel

Outfunnel is a great example of being part of the LIFT99 community. In September 2017, Andrus quit his successful job as the Head of Marketing at Pipedrive and started to validate his vague idea of a good marketing tool. In November 2017, he decided to move to LIFT99 in order to be closer to like-minded people and learn from the community.  After conducting 100 user interviews, Andrus had a pretty good idea of which product to build and Outfunnel’s product development started in February 2018, right after Andrus teamed up with Andris Reinman. At LIFT99 Andrus met another community member Markus, who helped to elaborate his product idea even further. In December 2018, Outfunnel raised its first pre-seed round and Markus decided to join as the third co-founder. Since then their life has been like a roller coaster - the team grew to the size of nine and the product itself has more than 500+ paying customers. In September 2020, Outfunnel announced the extension of their pre-seed round, bringing the total investment raised up to €1,1M. Outfunnel is now ready to take off from the LIFT99 Hub to reach higher.
